You can say Ethan has no entertainment talent, but damn does he have a talent for tarot!!! Ethan White is a 23-year-old Clairaudient & Claircognizant Psychic Medium, Celebrity Psychic, Comedian, Entrepreneur, & Content Creator, & Z grade level singer! Ethan specializes in combining tarot & comedy and turning it into his own art form. Whether it be doing character readings, writing stories based on a tarot card he pulls, or just being entertaining in a regular tarot reading - Ethan lives up to his name! Tarot & spirituality weren’t always Ethan’s forte - Ethan first started on YouTube back in 2009 doing sketch comedy videos and little skits. Over the years he had several channels doing comedy & vlog-related content, until one day in January 2018 he started tarot.
I was always a wild child, full of energy and too much sugar (I’m still addicted to coca-cola to this day, Leo tings.) I didn’t actually start talking until later than an average kid, but once I did start - I never shut up (co-signed by my mom!) In school, I had a lot of learning struggles and I struggled to navigate being different and also having a huge gap-tooth (until I got started with braces at the age of 9.) But - all of those struggles drove me to be a stronger person and a more confident & unapologetic person. I never stray away from my vision, for example, I would get hate on my old videos, but I would still stand my ground and continue to upload content that I loved making.
Spirituality wasn’t always a thing in my life due to my atheist upbringing. I didn’t have a spiritual experience until 2016, and then once I did, I started having constant deja vu. In the fall of 2017, I started going to online high school due to the challenges I was facing in in-person high school. Online school was a positive experience for overall, but I was often isolated because of it, and that’s when my spiritual awakening really started to occur.
“I was often alone at this time of my life and I really started to question my philosophy on life & certain relationships in my life.” says Ethan “I was very depressed at this time, and often certain people would perpetuate my depression, and later I discovered I was picking up negative energy from those people.”
Around the New Years’ time of 2018, I discovered tarot reading videos on YouTube, and one reader in particular really resonated with me! So, I decided to book a reading with her. Going into the reading I was very skeptical, but during the first 2 minutes, I said “I don’t want the death card,” and the damn death card flew out. Ever since that moment, my tarot journey started.
From the first time I picked up a tarot deck in January 2018, tarot just clicked for me! Later in 2018, I started several tarot social media pages as a hobby and quickly started selling readings. The next year after graduating high school I decided to pursue my tarot business full time. Currently, I’m a college student on top of pursuing my tarot business & entertainment. Even though I’m pursuing entertainment, it will always come back to tarot & spirituality for me in the end. I mean everything is connected and intertwined.
“For me, a lot of spirituality & my psychic stuff specifically is hard to explain, like, for example, I know how to read tarot, but it’s hard to explain how - I just do!.”
Getting a reading from me is truly a one-of-a-kind experience (not to stroke my ego lol.) I often talk to my clients as friends within readings & I joke a lot (and sing A LOT) - but I’m still very firm and blunt with my messages.
“I think the twin-flame concept & other similar out there-spiritual concepts deter people away from our community.” says Ethan “If we want spirituality to be more accepted in the mainstream we need to drop the delusional faux spiritual shit!”
I’m also a big advocate for self-love, acceptance, & finding your inner other-half before finding your outer other-half.
“So many people only care about love when they come for readings, and its fun to get a love reading.” says Ethan “But I view tarot as a personal tool, and so many that utilize spiritual readings often struggle with co-dependency & they want things right away, without doing any type of work or making any type of change.” Ethan continues “Many readers make money off that shit because those readings never pan out because the client never did any inner work - but for me, I prefer to help my clients and give them the honest dish, even if I lose a client and or money in doing so.”
Ethan showcases a lot of his free tarot-related content including his series’ Moist Mondays & Therapy Thursdays on his YouTube channel. On Instagram & TikTok Ethan often shares tarot & astrology meme-related content, along with other free little divine messages.
